(1) The forest produce in the religious forest can be used only for religious activities by the related religious body group or community. However, the forest produce obtained during the construction and operation of the development project in the religious forest area can be sold and distributed in coordination with the Divisional Forest Office and the local level.
(2) In accordance with sub-section (1), trees shall not be felled in such a way as to have a significant adverse effect on the environment or to cause public harm or to cause soil erosion in the watershed area.
